Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Toastcard, operated by Toastcard, LLC ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.

Description of Service

Toastcard is a web-based service that allows you to design custom postcards using your own photos, and have them printed and mailed to recipients of your choice. The Service includes the postcard designer, order processing, printing, and postal delivery.

User Accounts

You may create an account using your email address or by signing in with Google, Facebook, or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

You may also use certain features of the Service as a guest without creating an account. Guest sessions are temporary and may not be recoverable.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all photos, text, and designs you create using the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to use it solely for the purpose of fulfilling your postcard orders (printing, rendering previews, and delivering your postcards).

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and send. You agree not to use the Service to send content that:

  • You do not have the right to use (e.g., copyrighted images you don't own)
  • Is illegal, threatening, harassing, or defamatory
  • Contains obscene or objectionable material
  • Violates any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to refuse to print or mail any postcard that violates these terms.

Orders and Payments

All prices are listed in US dollars. Payment is collected at the time of order via Stripe. Once an order is submitted for printing, it cannot be cancelled or modified.

We strive to print and mail postcards promptly, but delivery times depend on postal services and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by postal carriers.

Refunds

If your postcard arrives damaged, is not delivered within a reasonable timeframe, or contains a printing error on our part, please contact us and we will work to make it right, which may include a reprint or refund at our discretion.

We do not offer refunds for content errors made by the customer (typos, wrong address, etc.) or for dissatisfaction with postal delivery times.

Intellectual Property

The Toastcard name, logo, website design, and software are the property of Toastcard, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

Postcard templates and design elements provided by the Service are licensed for your personal use in creating postcards through the Service only.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toastcard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
